Instruction on initial home exercises and modifications of current activities as needed for tissue healing.
Treatment Session

A combination of the following, based on your specific needs:
Manual therapy: myofascial release, soft tissue work, static and dynamic cupping, joint mobilization, guasha
Coordination, balance and postural training with visual, auditory, and tactile cueing
Strength training using a combination of bodyweight movements, bands, springs and free-weights
Individualized home exercise instruction to maximize your independence with pain management and progress to your goals
Education on strategies for or adjustments to daily postures and habits to maximize your control over your symptoms
Clinical Pilates

A 1:1 Pilates-based approach to rehabilitation
A blend of Pilates-style movement, strength training & corrective exercises chosen to help you reach your goals
More specific, efficient and effective for rehab than General Pilates
Sessions designed to be attended weekly
We begin with a 90-min Initial Consultation to gain an understanding of your body and develop a plan
Home exercise plan and recommendations updated as needed
30min sessions available for those who cannot tolerate 55min of exercise
*Telehealth option available for both Initial Consultation and Treatment sessions for those in New York State. Clinical Pilates sessions only available in-person.

Reimbursement for Physical Therapy Services
True North Physical Therapy of Rochester is an out-of-network provider and does not participate in Medicare. We do accept HSA/FSA. At the time of service, you are responsible for the full cost of the service(s) you have received. However, True North Physical Therapy can provide a superbill for commercial-based insurances. A superbill gives specific healthcare codes and allows your insurance to reimburse you once you have reached your out of network deductible. Talk to your insurance plan to understand these details.
